Commonwealth Games Squad in Action
The Women's CG squad will be playing three matches against France over the weekend of 27-29 August at the National Hockey Centre, Cardiff. With games due to start at 20:00 on 27th, 14:00 on 28th and 11:00 on 29th, this will be the last chance to see the squad in action in Wales before they travel to India next month. It promises to be an excellent weekend of top-class hockey against a French side that are ranked 4 places higher in the FIH World rankings. Tickets are available at the gate with discounts for those under 18 and free entry for those under 10. As an added incentive, 20 free tickets are available for each of the first 3 clubs or schools who send an email to info@welsh-hockey.co.uk with the subject 'Free tickets' stating their name, address, club or school.
To finish the international season, Wales Men will also be playing next month, again at Cardiff against the USA who are ranked 7 places higher. Matches will be played on 10th, 11th and 13th September with start times yet to be confirmed.
