Llanidloes High School - North Powys U18s Hockey Schoolgirl Champions
Llanidloes are the newly crowned North Powys U18s hockey champions after ending the finals day unbeaten. They started like a juggernaut with a 6-0 demolition of Llanfyllin led by a hat-trick from Sophie Rees, Hannah Cannon a brace and Ffion Evans completing the spree. Llanidloes needed a late double blast from Daisy Smith to beat Llanfair Caereinon 4-0 with Bethan Lewis and Hannah Cannon also on target. It was all to play for in the final match between rivals Welshpool & Llanidloes, but goals from Lucy Tompson & Bethan Lewis ensured LLanidloes a 2-0 win to gain the North Powys under 18s Schoolgirls crown.
