Wales await presentation
Mark Whatling from Glamorgan University collected the player of the tournament trophy at the Inter-Universities Home Nations event that concluded yesterday. Ben Croxhall, also of Glamorgan, was presented the trophy on behalf of a delighted Welsh Universities team. The trio of players, Mark, Ben and Jo Naughlty (UWIC) who was also very influential in the Welsh performance, will remain in Scotland for the GB Super League second round which will take place inspite of the embargo on flights due to the volcanic cloud.
