Most of the Panthers team beat the Volcanic Cloud to line up against the Cougars at Peffermil today. In a very closely contested match there was very little difference in the amount of possession and territory. Pathers could not find the precision or cutting edge to pierce the Cougars defence. In contrast, the Cougars managed to slide the ball home once in each half; from a very narrow angle on the left post and then from a penalty corner. Players competed hard throughout and there was no letting up as they pushed right to the whistle for a score. Panthers play the Highland Jaguars in their final match in the series tomorrow at 13:00 tomorrow.
