The last 2 weekends have provided fast, exciting hockey at the County Schoolgirls Finals in Swansea. Teams from across South Wales have competed in 6 competitions:
- U14 Cup and Plate
- U16 Cup and Plate
- U18 Cup and Plate
Organised in partnership between the Welsh Hockey Union and the South Wales Women's Hockey Association, the competition has followed a new round robin format this year and provided players with greater opportunity for more pitch time.
Sunday 29 November saw the U14 and U16 competitions take place with the following squads winning their respective competitions:
U-14 Cup: South East Wales
U-14 Plate: South Powys
U16 Cup: Cardiff & The Vale
U16 Plate: South Powys
Sunday 6 December Swansea hosted the U18 competitions with the following winners:
U18 Cup: Afan Nedd Tawe
U18 Plate: South East Wales
