Volunteers on top form at Wrexham
The junior inter Performance Development Centre competition took place this morning. Under 14 boys and girls teams participating from the N East, North Wales Coast and North Powys PDCs took to the EuroNations pitch ahead of this afternoon's action. Run by Jon Elliot and his team of activators the tournament ran smoothly with the full works of music and announcements. The competition was a great draw for players and supporters to Wrexham. They then met up afterwards with the Men's team for autographs. In the meantime the volunteers are running sumo, gladiators and hockey activities, which together with the Wrexham Eye, are in full swing and not always just the young ones – Ireland took to gladiators as a natural training ground!
