WHU Road Shows Complete
Cardiff, Colwyn Bay, Haverfordwest, Newport and Swansea were the venues for this year's WHU Road Shows. A presentation that covered WHU Strategic performance, the Hockey Pathway and further developments was delivered by Mike Leatt, Helen Bushell and Chris Marriott together with a video story of the EuroHockey Nations in Wrexham. WHU Directors were also at all but one of the venues. Most importantly, there was some excellent debate about a wide range of topics including coaching, club structures, facilities, talent ID pathway and high performance. All this will be wrapped up in a report to be published soon that will identify actions to be taken. The WHU have held to a 3 year policy of Road Shows at the beginning of the season. This will be reviewed as we update our communication plan. Thank you to all those who took the time to meet up with us on our travels.
