WHUA (North Region) Umpiring Seminars and Courses
North Wales Hockey Umpires will be providing a seminar on the New Rules for the 2009 season for ALL North Wales Hockey Umpires, North Wales Players and North Wales Coaches, male and female, to build on the Seminar held in August at the EuroNations:
- Mid' North Wales: Colwyn Bay Cricket Club (Wooden Pavilion), 19:00 Tuesday 29th September 2009
- North East Wales: Northop Hall Hockey and Cricket Club, 19:00 Wednesday 30th September 2009
- North West Wales: Caernarfon Sports Centre, 19:00 Thursday 1st October 2009
Entry cost to the seminars is free to all and the invite goes out not just to men or just women, but to everyone be they a player, an umpire or a coach. Official New 2009 Hockey rules books will also be available on the night.
Mary Bainbridge and Ian Wright will shortly be providing a level one umpires course for prospective umpire in North East Wales on 13th of October at Glyndwr University with a follow up practical on the 20th October. The next phase of training will see some much overdue level 2 training. A committee meeting will also be held towards the end of October with a new Chairman and North Wales Ladies League rep and Appointments Secretary to be elected.
