WHUA (South) announce course dates
Wednesday 10 March 2010, 18:00 - 20:00. Level 2 umpires theory course at Llandrindod Leisure Centre open to all established, active Level 1 umpires looking to develop their umpiring.
In order to gain their Level 2, prospective umpires must:
a. be recommended as Level 2 standard by a Level 2 or above umpire
b. pay a fee of £25
c. Attend a level 2 theory course (2 hours) which includes a written test
d. Be watched at a suitable game and recommended as level 2 standard
e. Be affiliated to WHUA and WHU
f. If he/she becomes a level 2 umpire, they are committed to:
i) Umpire at least 7 games a season
ii) Maybe appointment to neutral games
Wednesday 24 March 2010, 17:30 - 18.45 theory and 19:00 to 20:00 practical (on pitch).
WHUA South District are holding a Level 1 umpires theory and practical at Brecon Leisure Centre. Fee £40.
WHUA South District are looking to qualify umpire coaches. We are looking at end March/beginning April for the theory and it will be held in the Caerphilly area. If you are interested in obtaining a Level 1 umpire coaches qualification you would be expected to
a) be affiliated to WHUA and WHU
b) attend a theory course and a practical coaching session at a suitable club or regional event
All the above will be arranged for you.
