Wales take flicks decider
Ireland look on as Wales dispatch another penalty stroke
With the drama of last night's failed appeal by Scotland over, the placings for Pool B were decided this morning in a penalty flick shoot out between Wales and the Czech Republic. Rhys Joyce, Ben Croxall, James Hughes and Rufus MacNaught-Barrington all converted whilst the Czechs were less than convincing. This means Wales top Group B and now play Ireland in the Semi Final at 15:00 on Thursday at the Glyndwr University Hockey Stadium. In the other semi-final the Czech Republic now face Russia. Thursday is a full day with Scotland playing Italy at 10:00 followed by the Belarus Swiss encounter at 12:30. Tickets are still available on the gate for what promises to be yet another action packed day at the Euro Nations. The added external attractions at the Stadium include a climbing wall and speed test.
