Welsh Internationals join the Wembley Legends in Nottingham
As part of the Women's Champions Trophy event being held by the England Hockey Board at Highfields Sports Club, Nottingham, a Wembley Legends match will be played between a team of ex-England stars and an Invitation team of former internationalists from Wales and Scotland. Led by WHU President, Anne Ellis, 12 ex-Welsh Internationals will join fellow ex internationals from Scotland, team lists are as below.
The match will be played on Sunday 11th July at 11.00am on the main tournament pitch just before the Women’s Champions Trophy fixtures in the afternoon. Afternoon Champions Trophy fixtures include: 13:30 Argentina v Germany, 16:00 Netherlands v England, 18:30 New Zealand v China.
