This Summer's high turn out at the Cardigan Bay PDC clearly demonstrates a thirst for hockey among girls and boys from the Cardigan Bay area.  Schools and clubs from Tywyn to Cardigan, and from Llandysul to Tregaron, have responded to this opportunity by nominating approximately 100 players aged U14 with the potential to play hockey for their region.

The Cardigan Bay PDC is headed up by Roger Middleton, one of the WHU's leading coach educators, with support from local WHU Hockey Development Officer, Helen Thomas; local WHU Youth Hockey Activator, Jamie Hooper; and coaches from Aberystwyth University Men's HC and Dysynni HC. Sessions are held on a weekly basis at Aberystwyth University Sports Centre.

The WHU wishes to acknowledge the support provided by Facilities & Commercial Manager, Jeff Saycell, over the course of the last year, and is delighted to announce that Jeff is planning to hold a hockey camp for local children during the Summer holidays.
