Clubs are an essential element of the sport as a whole and provide that brilliant fun, friendly and competitive atmosphere that keeps people returning week in week out to play the sport they love!

Hockey Wales recognises how important clubs are in the development of Hockey throughout the country. Clubs are an essential element of the sport as a whole and provide that brilliant fun, friendly and competitive atmosphere that keeps people returning week in week out to play the sport they love! Clubs are the lifeblood of our game.

Whatever the ambitions your club may have such as providing more social and informal hockey opportunities for juniors and adults or  putting out a team every weekend to win the League, or possibly you are a performance club that is nurturing the next potential Olympic star, we want to help you and your club reach its fullest potential.

We recognise that establishing strong clubs in some areas, and expanding and supporting those already existing can only serve to meet local demand and strengthen the hockey base. It will improve competitive opportunities and we are working on developing a range of resources and products that will help develop and expand how you deliver your hockey experience according to those club ambitions.
