Hockey Wales is always looking for more sponsors to partner with and share in the exciting new products and services that we are developing and running.
Why sponsor Hockey Wales?
There’s a very good reason why you should do this. We take our sport very seriously. We might only be a small nation, but we definitely bring a top level game to the table and gain the exposure doing it.
Great Britain had great success in both Olympic and Paralympic Games, which saw our biggest collection of medals in 100 years. Hockey itself was the third most attended event at the games. That’s over 630,000 tickets sold, which highlights just how popular the sport has become and of course we came home with that all-important Bronze medal, with the winning goal scored by our very own Merthyr born and bred Sarah Thomas.
There are several advantages to sponsorship, including:
- The opportunity to align your brand with some of the country’s top athletes
- Being part of a sport that promotes physical and mental strength and wellbeing
- Brings communities together in a productive and positive manner with a very strong family identity attached
All these are defining characteristics that brands aspire to be part of. Hockey Wales are always looking at new and innovative ways to deliver opportunities to increase participation in the sport. However, we do need commercial partners to do so.
How to sponsor Hockey Wales
Sponsorship provides you with many benefits, such as enhancing your image, increasing awareness of your brand and aiding sales of products and services on a Business To Business (B2B) and Business To Consumer (B2C) level.
Hockey Wales is definitely a two way street. By sponsoring us, we create a bespoke package for your brand, depending on your objectives. We currently have opportunities for principal partners, team partners and official suppliers.
We also have a number of advertising opportunities, which include perimeter boards at the National Hockey Centres in Cardiff.
