James Carson

James made his senior debut for Wales in 2015 against Scotland, and marked his first appearance with his first goal for the team. The forward followed in the footsteps of his two older brothers and started playing hockey for Taunton Vale. After Leaving school James studied at Cardiff Metropolitan University, where his hockey thrived and following some excellent goal scoring form across multiple seasons, James made his way into the Wales senior team. After graduating, James joined Brother Tom (England International) at Reading hockey club to have his first taste at premier league hockey. In 2020, following the success of the European Championship James played a season for Royal Beerschot hockey Club in Antwerp, Belgium. James is currently working as a PE teacher at St Georges Junior school, playing his hockey at Old Georgians Hockey club alongside his two older brothers Tom and Ed.
