Xenna Hughes
Xenna made her senior international debut at 18 years old, against India in the Women’s Champions Challenge I. Since then, she has played in many major tournaments including two Commonwealth Games and several European Championships. A versatile player, she has played as both a forward and a defender throughout her playing career. Xenna has spent many seasons playing in the top hockey league in the country, seeing her team reaching the playoffs three times. After living in London for 4 years, Xenna moved back north to join her hometown club Bowdon Hightown HC.
