GRILLA become new Hydration Partner of Hoci Cymru

Hoci Cymru is delighted to have signed a two-year partnership with Grilla, who become our Official Hydration Partner.

The partnership will see GRILLA support Hoci Cymru’s performance teams, national club competitions, and provide opportunities for GRILLA to be stocked and utilised by all members clubs across Wales.

GRILLA produce a range of high-quality energy and hydration products, aimed at educating and informing consumers on the correct hydration solutions depending on their level of exercise and stamina.

Along the way, educating younger members of the Welsh hockey community about the importance of hydration will remain a focus.

GRILLA products provide the hydration you need no matter what stage of activity you are at, whether it’s pre-exercise, a much-needed energy boost during a game, or post-exercise recovery.

Furthermore, the GRILLA logo will be proudly featured on the shorts and skorts of Wales’ international kits over the next two years, with a bustling schedule on the horizon for our Men’s and Women’s sides.

Hoci Cymru CEO, Paul Whapham, commented:

“We are thrilled to be partnering with GRILLA, an organisation who puts an emphasis on education as well as their product.

“This partnership will not only provide important support for our performance athletes throughout what is going to be a busy and challenging schedule, but also ensure that the wider hockey community are educated on hydration solutions depending on specific activity levels.

“We look forward to working alongside GRILLA, seeing their name on our international kit, and getting their drink and message out to community clubs across Wales."

It’s an exciting time for GRILLA, as well, with this announcement coming off the back of a confirmed partnership with the PSA Squash Tour which will see GRILLA become the Official Sports Hydration Partner of four UK-based PSA events.

GRILLA Founder and Managing Director, John Smith-Howell, added:

"I am genuinely enthusiastic about this partnership, as it presents a remarkable opportunity to directly contribute to the hydration of athletes representing their country.

“Additionally, it allows for active engagement within the Welsh hockey community, fostering its development and promoting awareness about the critical importance of hydration for all participants.”
